Sheringham

Originally a small fishing community, Sheringham, which is situated on the North Norfolk coast, became an established holiday destination in the late 19th Century with the coming of the railway.

Today Sheringham, with its mix of Victorian and Edwardian architecture, has something to offer everyone. From its lively shopping centre, with many family run businesses, to the North Norfolk Railway which operates steam trains to the Georgian market town of Holt.

Alternatively, enjoy one of the plays or films on offer at the Sheringham Little Theatre or explore the 800 acres of Sheringham Park, owned by the National Trust, or just relax on its quiet sandy, Blue Flag beaches with safe sea bathing.

With so much to see and do in the area, you will be sure to find everything you need to make your summer or winter holiday a truly memorable one.
